Connect Klarna: payouts & real fees

Under Connections (“Verbindungen”, bottom of the sidebar) you find the Klarna card in the Payments & finance area.

Create credentials:

1. Open the Klarna Merchant Portal.
2. Go to Settings → API credentials and generate new credentials.
3. Klarna shows you an API username (starting with PK…) and an API password. The password is only shown once, so copy it right away.

Enter in NorthProfit:

1. Choose the region: EU (Europe), NA (North America) or OC (Oceania). For DACH shops EU is correct.
2. Choose live or test (playground); for real numbers: live.
3. Enter the API username and API password → “Connect & test Klarna”. NorthProfit checks the credentials against the Klarna API immediately.

What is imported:

With “Sync now” NorthProfit reconciles your Klarna payouts and the real Klarna fees and assigns them to your orders. This replaces the flat fee estimate from Profit (“Gewinn”) → Payment fees (“Zahlungsgebühren”); from then on your net profit calculates with the actual Klarna costs. The card shows you payouts, total fees and the last payout.
