Connect Stripe: real fees instead of estimates
One click, then NorthProfit imports your payouts and the real processing fees.
Under Connections (“Verbindungen”, bottom of the sidebar) you find the Stripe card in the Payments & finance area. Click “Connect Stripe”, sign in to Stripe briefly and authorise NorthProfit, and you are done. There are no keys to copy.
What is imported:
- Payouts: you see when Stripe actually transfers which money to you; this feeds into cash flow.
- Real processing fees per payment: instead of a flat fee estimate, NorthProfit calculates with the actual Stripe fees. This makes your net profit noticeably more accurate.
- Assignment to orders: fees are assigned to the matching orders so that profit per order is correct.
In addition, NorthProfit passes tracking numbers to Stripe (proof of shipping), which helps with payment disputes.
Test or live:
The badge on the card shows whether your live or test access is connected. For real numbers connect your live account.
Updates:
After connecting, NorthProfit reloads automatically at regular intervals. With “Sync data” you can trigger the reconciliation manually at any time; the card then shows how many payouts and fees were imported.
