PayPal: fees via your shop
PayPal fees come from your shop; your own PayPal REST app is the route for advanced users.
Via your shop: We read PayPal fees where your shop supplies them, for example in WooCommerce with PayPal Payments. As long as no real fee is available, it is estimated and marked as such.
For advanced users, your own REST app: Open Connections → Payments & finance (“Zahlung & Finanzen”) → PayPal. Choose live or sandbox and enter the client ID and client secret of your own PayPal app. NorthProfit checks the credentials before saving and then shows the connection status.
The connection through PayPal login follows after the PayPal partner approval and is not available today. Credentials are not shown again in the browser, and you can disconnect at any time. Which fee, payout, tracking and dispute data is available depends on your PayPal account and the permissions actually granted.
